  • She doesn't look bad for a red head
  • Installation of new beta bv1505.Has set up to left for bilge pump& p.t.o. Set up different than the typical.
  • Installation by myself. had my son Jessie to give a hand to set it in.
  • My mast&booms I just finished re-painting& re wire.
  • over all maintenance. Re-built bow sprit post in 2000 solid teak.
  • removal of fuel tank 2 inches to spare.
  • old MD2B taken out. I'll miss her. Was a great engine took us a lot off place's. The Beta has big boots to fill and I don't think ever will.
  • Setting in shaft aligned & drive saver will be installed. Area will be left wide open for visual viewing and to do future adjustments. Liner has never been painted. Well taken care off
  • P.T.O. with belt to drive bilge pump to starboard.
  • Sea water pump is on starboard side just behind fuel pump.
  • new bottom paint
  • ceiling cabin in head.Removed my tongue&groove.3new tube vents for dorade boxes. Recaulk track on staysail.
  • ABVW panel will be installed.
  • Installed another new ss boom-kin.#2
  • my dinghy to starboard

  • I wax every season.
  • A good wax job will keep a paint job or jell-coat, last twice as long.
  • A sailor's work is never done
  • Still have 2 bladed prop on. 3 blade was recommended with new engine. 2 blade worked fine for 31 years. Been through heavy tidal & currents & seas. kept for spare.
  • I spray-painted my dream-girl 25 years ago she still looks ravishing.

  • 8 Hawse pipes are ABI 3/8 thick, still solid. Installed 1991.In the openings I sealed them with blue Styrofoam and then cut it back 1"from opening and sealed up with fiberglass& epoxy. Will Never leak
  • Preping booms for re paint. Sanded removed all fittings& sanded off all old paint. Brought down to bare aluminum

  • total cost for paint $480.00 Included 4 gallons of paint.2 gallons of thinners. 1 gallon of Gon...is solvent cleaner.
  • Boom getting ready to sand with 80 grit paper. use an 8 hole orbital. Works like a pro. Under is spreaders.
  • Spray painted with Pittsburgh paint 3 phase system.#1 polyclutch acid primer to etch into aluminum.#2 two part epoxy primer 1 gal. to 1 gal.Or mix whats needed.#3 two part polyurethane 1to1 mix.
  • Oil hand sump pump to port behind 100 amp alternator.
