I got it to work using Photobucket . Seems I need to resize ( this pic is of the whole boat ) , how do I do that ?
As admin, I can edit the images and change their size in others members messages with the "boxes" that appear on each corner.
You can resize photos in Photobucket. click on photo and you will see editing tools at top. Might want to keep a copy of the orig though
Thanks Mike .
When I post images -- the images are first uploaded to an online album.
I view the image in Chrome and then I right click on the image and choose copy
Then click on the forum message body -- and ctrl v to paste...
I can now see the image in the forum message - there is a box at each corner of the image and I drag the box in the lower left corner up and toward the center to reduce the image size.
When resized to the size I want - I release the image and post the message.
I'm on win 10 home with chrome as the browser.
Hi Jay , I see you fixed that picture . how did you do that ? When you say on line album do you mean like photo bucket ? And I don't know how to ctrl v to paste . Thanks .
I can edit messages -- so I edited your post - and with chrome on a win 10 computer - I select the image and there are resize boxes in each corner ... I just select and slide the lower left box toward the center.
as far as images - and how to get them into a message... I have for the WOA a Picasa/Google + photo site https://plus.google.com/+WoaWestsail and I upload images into a photo album - making sure that the album and photos are shared to the public.... then when viewing the image (with a browser) - I right click and choose copy ...
I then open a forum post and paste the image into the message body and do the resizing thing above.... the lower left corner is usually available to select and slide around.
So here is Dave King showing me a broken eye bolt w/o resizing.
Here it is resized.
Of course Google is changing picasa to something else call google + ... so messing up links in the process.
